1.Introduction:
Mrs. Yashoda, a 55-year-old woman, has faced a series of health challenges over the years, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism. Her medical journey started in 2000 when she underwent surgery for kidney stones and cholelithiasis, followed by a hysterectomy in her 40s due to severe menstrual bleeding and uterine cysts. Despite following prescribed treatments, including medications for CKD and other health conditions, she continued to experience pain, fatigue, and rising creatinine levels. After learning about SLNS Nature Cure Hospital through a televised speech by Dr. Manthena Satyanarayana Raju, she sought alternative, naturopathic treatments with hopes of achieving natural recovery and better management of her chronic conditions.
2.Patient Information:
Name: Mrs. Yashoda
Age: 55 years
Gender: Female
Mrs. Yashoda – at 35 years old, she was admitted to Pramila Nursing Home, Hyderabad in 2000, with severe lower back pain. Dr. Ramesh Ramaiah diagnosed her with bilateral kidney stones using ultrasound, and she underwent successful surgery to remove the stones. However, just one month after the procedure, she began experiencing intense central abdominal pain. Returning to the same hospital, she was diagnosed with cholelithiasis and underwent a cholecystectomy, again performed by Dr. Ramaiah. At 47, she sought medical attention at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, due to excessive menstrual bleeding and severe lower abdominal pain. Dr. Usharani, a gynecologist, diagnosed her with cystic formations in the uterus via ultrasound and performed a hysterectomy to address the severity of her condition.
In 2013, at age 50, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD), coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism during a routine check-up at Yashodha Hospital by Dr. Usharani, who then referred her to Dr. Suresh Babu V., a consultant nephrologist. Despite being on prescribed medication and undergoing regular check-ups, she saw no improvement in her symptoms, including pain and fatigue. Her creatinine levels continued to rise, indicating the progression of chronic CKD.
In April 2024, she visited Star Hospital for her chronic CKD. There, Dr. Jyothsna, a nephrologist, recommended specific medications, which she followed for two weeks. Despite the extensive medical history and ongoing treatment, she continues to seek better management of her chronic conditions.
The patient has come to know about the SLNS Nature cure hospital by Manthena Satyanarayana Raju garu’s speech in the television where he mentioned Dr. Karthik Reddy and the location of the hospital. Then the patient was inspired by the naturopathic treatments explained by him and hoping for natural recovery.

9 | Febuxostat tablets (1-0-0) | 1-0-0 | Decreasing serum uric acid in dose dependent manners |
10 | Torsemide 10mg (1-0-0) – Only if swelling is present | 1-0-0 (if swelling is present) | Supports kidney to eliminate excess water and salt from body |
11 | Levothyroxine (1-0-0) | TAPERED (Reduced to half) | Replacing the thyroind hormone where the production is insufficient |
After incorporating naturopathic treatments, her medication regimen has shown promising improvements, leading to a favorable prognosis. Carvedilol phosphate (1-0-1) continues to reduce peripheral resistance, promoting better blood circulation. Nifedipine (1-0-1) effectively blocks calcium entry, supporting smooth cardiovascular function. Aspirin (0-1-0) remains essential in preventing blood clots. Notably, Gliclazide has been tapered, reflecting improved insulin sensitivity and better diabetes management. Desidustat (1-0-0, alternately) continues to stimulate erythropoiesis, enhancing red blood cell production. Sodium bicarbonate (0-1-0) helps maintain balanced pH levels, and Esomeprazole (1-0-0) ensures optimal gastric health by reducing acid secretion. Multivitamins (0-1-0) and Febuxostat (1-0-0) continue to support overall health and lower uric acid levels, respectively. Torsemide (1-0-0 as needed) assists in managing fluid retention, and Levothyroxine has been reduced, indicating improved thyroid function.
The integration of naturopathic therapies has led to the tapering of certain medications, demonstrating enhanced metabolic and immune function. This holistic approach has not only stabilized her condition but also paved the way for long-term health benefits, including better cardiovascular health, improved kidney function, and overall vitality.
